How do you keep those sore muscles and achy joints feeling good? Well, your favorite Spa Nerd is here to tell you about a simple, yet powerful tool: the cold pack!

Cold therapy, also known as cryotherapy, is a fantastic way to manage pain and inflammation at home. Here’s how it works:

A New Chapter: Hello Evans, Georgia!


Life is all about change, and sometimes, those changes take us to new and exciting places!  I’m thrilled to announce that my family and I have recently moved to Evans, Georgia!  This is a big step for us, and we’re so excited for all the opportunities this new chapter holds.

While we’re embracing the adventure ahead, I’ll be honest. There are definitely things I’ll miss about my life in Florida.  A huge part of that is my time at Summit Salon Academy.  I’ve truly loved my experience teaching there, and I’ll cherish the memories and the connections I’ve made with my students and colleagues.  Florida, you’ll always hold a special place in my heart!

But as one chapter closes, another opens.  We’re looking forward to all the positive changes and growth this move will bring for our family.  This move is a fantastic opportunity for my husband to advance in his career, and I’m personally thrilled to be able to dedicate more quality time to my family.  That’s something I’m incredibly grateful for.

One of my top priorities right now is getting my professional licenses transferred.  I’m currently working on transferring my Florida massage, skin, and nail licenses to Georgia so I can continue pursuing my passion and serving clients here.  I’m eager to connect with the local community and build new relationships.

We’re still settling in and exploring our new surroundings, but so far, Evans has been wonderful.  We’re excited to discover all that this area has to offer and become a part of this vibrant community.  Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this new adventure!  We’re so happy to be here!
